  1. VELUX introduces a layer of water protection in the pre-attached deck seal that provides a seal between the frame and roof deck.
  2. An adhesive underlayment provides secondary water protection against the harshest weather conditions.
  3. VELUX offers engineered flashing for easy installation and primary water protection on a full range of roof materials.

VELUX skylights carry a 10-year installation warranty plus 20-years on glass, 10-years on product, and 5-years on blinds and controls.

VELUX solar blinds are a great way to reduce home energy use. Better yet, your purchase may qualify for a 30% Federal Tax Credit.

In order to claim the credit, you will need to fill out IRS Form 5695. In addition to this form, you will need your purchase receipts as well as the manufacturer's certification statement (which can be downloaded on our warranty page).
